2018 | NEW YEAR, SAME ME

It might be the start of a new year and the time to make new year resolutions and changes, but you know what? I am really happy with who I am. Is that big headed? Maybe, Maybe its just the fact I am at a place in my life where I am really content with the person I am right now and to be honest I don’t really need a new year to change old habits. I do however have things I am really looking forward to during 2018.

I currently have a stack of books by my bed,  I am so looking forward to working my way through them page by page. I love reading but I am really slow so it takes me ages to get through a book, But nevertheless, It’s still reading, isn’t it? I loved Karen Slaughter’s Pretty Girls so I thought I would try one of her other books, I have only just started it so I hope it is as good as Pretty Girls.

Weddings And Hen Parties are becoming a regular thing now. I have reached that age where people are having kids or thinking about starting families so engagement announcements are coming thick and fast.  Some of my best friends are getting engaged and I couldn’t be happier for them. It is so nice to see your best mates happy and in Love. The Hen parties are where it’s at though, I am currently in the process of planning my friend Natalie’s, It’s a mammoth task but it’s going to be awesome.

Walking is something I really, really enjoy. Whether it’s just my best buddy (Archie) and I or with friends and Family, putting on my walking boots and heading out into the countryside is one of my favourite things to do. This year I want to make more effort to explore the peak district and also a little further afield too. To say I live in Sheffield I really take it for granted that the countryside is just on my doorstep.

There is so much to look forward to this year other than the things I have mentioned above, I can not wait to see what it has to offer

I hope everyone has the happiest, healthiest 2018 possible.
